Lippitt Mill is a historic textile mill complex located in West Warwick, Rhode Island. The mill was built in the 1800s and is the third oldest mill in Rhode Island. In recent years, the mill has been vacant and has fallen into disrepair. The redevelopment will include 68 residential units. The project will provide much-needed housing and amenities to the community while preserving a cultural and historic structure. The development will be a mix of residential, commercial, and community space. With a slightly lower than average income in West Warwick, there is a growing need for safe, affordable housing with an array of specialized services.
The residential units will be a mix of apartments and townhomes. The proposed development is expected to take one year to complete.
