St. Mark’s partnered with Marathon’s expertise to redevelop a superior building envelope system that would protect the facility from extreme temperature fluctuations and provide a more consistent interior environment thereby improving the overall ice quality. This was further enhanced with the integration of a desiccant dehumidification system which also provided a heating component to allow the facility in the off season for events.

Marathon worked with regional experts in the insulated panel industry to remove the existing corrugated skin and replaced it with insulated panels and a low emissivity ceiling insulation system. The existing lighting systems were upgraded to improve the quality of the experience in the facility.
